OY Car outburst As reported by D. Overbeek, the eclipsing SU UMa-type dwarf nova OY Car is in outburst. The latest reported outbursts of OY Car occured in 1998 February (superoutburst reaching mv=11.8; caught by B. Monard at mv=13.2 during the rise) and 1998 June (normal outburst reaching mv=12.4, caught by R. Stubbings). Time-resolved observations of eclipses (and possible humps) are strongly encouraged.
