IAUC No. 6777 tells the discovery of a nova in NGC 205 by the Beijing
Astronomical Observatory team. The nova has been spectroscopically confirmed
to be a nova after maximum.

The spectrum described in IAUC No. 6777 seems to suggest the nova is in
the early decline stage of an slow nova. Follow-up observations (CCD
photometry etc.) are encouraged.
In reporting to vsnet-obs using the recommended format, use the name
NGC205nova1997 in the first column.
