- Sender: owner-vsnet-alert@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp
ALEXIS has detected a potential transient in Telescope 2B (186 Angstroms,
66eV) at:
RA= (08 09 24.95)
DEC=(19 22.2)
(Epoch 2000)
Error circle radius = 0.5 degrees (~90% confidence)
There was no evidence of the object in the co-aligned telescope 2A (130
eV). The source turn on appeared to start about 10 UT 17 Dec, peaked at 18
UT 17 Dec and was slowly decaying at last contact with the satellite.
Simbad shows a soft Einstein x-ray source in the error box.
Follow up observations are encouraged
