  I have made an image of NGC 7177, taken at Leuschner Observatory
on Aug 26, 1993, available for perusal.  You can get a FITS image
via anonymous FTP from astro.princeton.edu.  Connect, go to the
"richmond" directory, and get the file "NGC7177.fts".

  Alternatively, you can look on my home page,

         http://vsnet.astro.princeton.edu/~richmond/

where I have an item that points to a GIF image of the same picture.

  It looks to me as if the candidate is the same object seen in the
1993 image, but I leave it to those with access to the raw image
to check more carefully.
