Response to CVC 29 (VVS Belgium)
UW Tri was discovered as a nova in 1983 Sept. 11. The discovery report
by Kurochkin provided the following magnitude estimates. The outburst
lasted at least 32 days!

We tried to get quiescent identification of this object at Ouda Station
several times in the past, but have not yet obtained conclusive results.
The quiescent counterpart seems to be very faint. In addition to emergent
photometry (+spectroscopy, of course), accurate astrometry would be also
helpful.
Congratulations again to T. Vanmunster et al. for their excellent works!
