QY Per

I have performed astrometry on QY Per during its current outburst. The
reduction used 10 GSC stars with rms residuals 0.14", 0.12". The position
is some way to the NW of the position quoted in Downes and Shara.

The position I get is:
RA = 3h 15m 36.82s,   Dec = +42d 28' 13.8"  (2000.0)

D&S give end figures: 37.93s, 0".9.

The position was derived from a 60s CCD frame taken on 1994 October 26
at 2312 using a 0.3m Newtonian.

Regards Nick James. (IAU station 970).
