Possible Nova Sgr

     Yukio Sakurai ( Mito, Ibaragi, Japan ) reports his discovery
of a possible nova in Sgr. on his patrol film.

          Decl.  -17 14 14     (1950.0)
                                   ( 300mm lens, G400 film )

     May 16.733 U.T., this object was not seen, [11.5mpv, on the
photo by Y. Sakurai.

     Visual confilmations are reported follows;
May 22.603 U.T. 11.4, Susumu Takahashi (Shiga, Japan; 28cm SCT),
22.620  11.6, Makoto Watanabe ( Toyama, Japan ; 28cm SCT).
