For observers seeking the nova now, here is a description of the region:

The nova has two close companion stars that are now of fairly similar
brightness to it, i.e. V about 12. One is about 10" SSE of the
nova. the other is about 20" SW of the nova. The three stars make
an isosceles triangle with the nova being the northern star of the base
pair.

There is a roughly eqilateral triangle of similarly bright stars about 100"
SSE of the nova triangle. Below is an attempt to sketch the region. It
looks OK on my screen but my printer shrinks it vertically. The frame
height should be about 1.4 x the width.
