Dear Collegues,
We are now trying to set up a variable star related quick mail
distribution system through vsnet.
The main aims of this network is
1. Providing quick communications on variable star events such as
   the discovery of new variable star, supernova, outburst etc.
2. Distributing the observational results.
3. Forwarding information exchange on variable stars
4. Distributing preprints submitted to the journals.

The host of this network is Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Science, 
Kyoto University in Kyoto City, Japan.
