      Dear Nova Observers,

      K. Sekiguchi (SAAO) and S. Matsumoto (U. of Tokyo) obtained a  spectrum
      (3400 - 5400 A, ~ 3.5 A resolution) of Nova Oph 1994 on the night of
      June 03 (~20:00 UT). The spectrum looks like a typical classical nova
      in the early decline stage, strong and broad Balmer emission
      lines (with P Cyg absorption features) and Fe II emission lines.
      Therefore, it is definitely a nova ! We will keep observing this nova
      for another a week or so.
