- subject: possible variable star near AY Lyr
Dear colleagues,
During our (I and Nogami) CCD observation of AY Lyr, the star GSC 3118 01301
(RA[2000]=18 44 20.58 ; dec[2000]=37 57 28.5 ; mv=11.8 ; few arcminutes south
of AY Lyr ; the brightest star in our frames)
was also caught in the same frames.
The star possibly shows a short term variation
with a possible period close to two hours and amplitude of variation
about 0.07 mag.
If you have continuous CCD observations of AY Lyr in the past for more
than two hours, would you check the variability of this star also ?
If you have any information about this star
Regards,
Kunjaya
