Nova Cassiopeiae 1993

Dear Mr. Yasuto Takenaka !
Dear Mr. Taichi Kato !

Mr. Yasuto Takenaka have asked me to forward my estimates on the
magnitude of Nova Cassiopeiae 1993 to Mr. Kato as well.

The weather has been cloudy all the week except for some "holes" last
night and a magnificent sky tonight!
Saturday evening the nova was slightly brigther than the mag. 7.23(HI) /
7.213(SK) star. Tonight it is slightly weaker.
I have switched to the "SK" sequence as I am now using the HD222543 star
(mag. 8.277) for comparisons. And I have started to use a Meade 2045D
4" SCT in parallel with the binoculars. However, the binoculars are
still used as the "prime" instrument for estimating the magnitude.

My estimates:

1994 01 15.903 7.0 mv HI *Linander, S. 5 -cm Bino.(10x) Mail(stl)
1994 01 16.696 7.4 mv SK *Linander, S. 5 -cm Bino.(10x) Mail(stl)
1994 01 16.781 7.4 mv SK *Linander, S. 5 -cm Bino.(10x) Mail(stl)
1994 01 16.840 7.5 mv SK *Linander, S. 5 -cm Bino.(10x) Mail(stl)
1994 01 16.922 7.3 mv SK *Linander, S. 5 -cm Bino.(10x) Mail(stl)
