The following observation was made by me north of Building 10, NIH, Bethesda,
Maryland, -77 W, N +39:
Nova Cassiopeiae 1993, 23h 39m, +57.2d (1950.)
UTC mv using 11x80 binoculars

1994 JAN 9 0 44 ( 9.031) 7.4 +/- .2 by averted vision
Transparency: 4.5 star just visible naked eye Seeing: fair to poor
Sequence: From AAVSO Alert Notice 179, AAVSO Chart 2339+56 (b) (1993/12/14),
SAO 035665 = 7.2, SAO 035668 = 8.3.
