a new outburst of GRO J0422+32

The V-band CCD observatiosn at Ouda (Nara, Japan; Kyoto Univerisity)
indicates that a new outburst of GRO J0422+32 seems to be in
   progress.

A sample of averaged V-magnitudes at Ouda

     mid-UT <V> +/- N
   -----------------------------
   931211.720 15.41 0.01 40 V
   931212.702 15.32 0.01 52 V
   931223.465 15.79 0.01 33 V
   940101.562 17.20 0.02 21 V
   940102.581 17.67 0.03 25 V
   940104.572 18.83 0.05 52 V
   940106.568 18.79 0.04 53 V

On Jan. 7, 1994, the object looks siginificantly brighter. A quick look
of images on the TV monitor shows that the object is presently at
   about V=17.5.
This event may provide one of the rare chances to follow the full, esp.
the very initial, course of optical outbursts of USXTs.
Further multiwavelength observations are strongly encouraged.
