Dear Taichi and Yasuto,
N Cas 1993 seems to be oscillating up and down in brightness on a daily
bases. On January 6.05 (UT) 1994, I estimated N Cas 1993's magnitude at
7.1, using comparison stars of magnitudes 6.4, 7.1, and 7.2 from the chart
in AAVSO Alert Notice 179. 5 cm binoculars (7x) were used for the estimate.
Clear skies,
William (W. G. Dillon, Missouri City, Texas, USA)
