Dear Yasuto and Taichi,
On January 4.08 (UT) 1993, I estimated N. Cas 1993's brightness at
magnitude 6.9, using comparison stars of magnitudes 6.4, 7.1, and 7.2
from AAVSO Alert Notice 179. The estimates were made using 5 cm
binoculars (7x).
