  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

-- The final stage of an mini-outburst of GRO J0422+32 --

  940102.584 3.422 0.139 24 V

The current mini-outburst of GRO J0422+32 (USXT) is now turning
to an end, with an astonishingly rapid decline rate of 0.5 mag/day.
The system reached V=17.7 on Jan. 2.

Accompanied by a general fade, a possible dip with an amplitude of
0.2 mag seems to be emerging. The light minimum occurred on Jan. 2.588
UT, coinciding with the minimum of the sinusoid-like modulation
(presumably orbitally originated). Suggestion of an eclipse of the
  hot spot?
