RE: outburst of IR Lyrae
Tonny Vanmunster reports a possible outburst of IR Lyrae. The outburst was
confirmed by Paul Van Cauteren:
April 28,94 magnitude 14.3: (Tonny Vanmunster, Landen, 0.35-m refl)
april 28,97 magnitude 14.0 (Paul Van Cauteren, Aartselaar, 0.40-m refl)
In both the IBVS and "A Catalog and Atlas of Cataclysmic Variables' by
R. Downes and M Shara, IR Lyr is mentioned as type UG: (uncertain)
Would appreciate if colleagues could provide more information about this
cataclysmic star.
regards
Paul Van Cauteren
