Time system is Universal Time. Magnitudes are calculated from Pogson's step
method. CL = class: estimated accuracy of observation; 1 = good (+/- 0.1
mag.), 2 = fair (+/- 0.2 mag.), 3 = poor (+/- 0.3 mag.). CD = code:
I = in-focus observation, O = out-of-focus observation. Instrument (type,
aperture in mm and magnification): C = catadioptric telescope (SCT);
M = Newtonian reflector. This report contains new (*) observations since
Report No. 21 (April 14).

Data for comparison stars (V- and mv-magnitudes):

Offsets are differential coordinates (delta R.A., Delta Decl.): comparison
star minus nova. Magnitude references: SK = B. Skiff photometry; NAS =
estimates by NAS.VSS observers; MK = M. Kidger photometry; TK = T. Kato
photometry; AC = AAVSO chart for Nova Cas 1993. Identifications are from
The Astronomer (numbered stars) and NAS.VSS (others).

Observers: Haakon Dahle (Oslo); Bjorn H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway).

The complete file of NAS.VSS observations is available by anonymous ftp
at medusa.uio.no in directory pub/bgranslo/n1993cas. File name is
